Argan Oil Cooperative Tour
Overview
The Souss region is where most of the world's argan oil comes from, and the trees grow all around Agadir. This short trip takes you to one of the best-known cooperatives in the area.
A guide explains each step, from collecting and cracking the nuts to pressing the oil, and why it is used both in cooking and on skin and hair. You then taste the culinary oil and have time in the cooperative shop, where products are sold directly.
A Berber breakfast can be added at extra cost. To see the goats that climb the same trees, book goats on argan trees.
