Hot Air Balloon at Sunrise
Overview
The balloon flights take off south of Agadir, in the Massa area, about an hour's drive from the city. Pickup from hotels in Agadir and Taghazout is at around 04:30 so that you are in the air as the sun comes up.
While the crew inflates the balloon, you have a light breakfast with coffee, tea, orange juice and croissants. The flight lasts about an hour over valleys, gorges and Berber villages, with the Atlas range on one side and the ocean on the other.
After landing, a traditional Berber breakfast is served in a tent at the base before the drive back. Flights depend on the weather: if one is cancelled, you are offered another date or a full refund. Free cancellation applies up to 48 hours before the flight.
