Surf Lesson in Taghazout
Overview
Taghazout is the best-known surf village in Morocco, and the beaches around it have waves for beginners as well as experienced riders. This half-day lesson takes you about 30 minutes north of Agadir to a sandy beach chosen for the day's conditions.
Your instructor hands out boards and wetsuits, explains the basics on the sand, then joins you in the water. After the lesson you can keep surfing for as long as you like before the drive back.
The instruction adapts to your level, from first time on a board to improving your take-off. Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. For other things to do nearby, see Agadir and Taghazout activities.
