Camel Ride, Sandboarding & Canyon Visit
Overview
Three things the Timlalin dunes are known for, in two hours: a camel ride across the sand, a sandboarding session on the slopes above the Atlantic, and a visit of the sandstone canyon nearby. The dunes lie about an hour north of Agadir, on the coast between Tamri and Imsouane.
The camel ride comes first, at the slow pace of the caravan. You then carry a board to the top of a dune and ride down, sitting to start with or standing once you feel ready. The visit ends in the canyon, a narrow passage between curved walls of sandstone.
