Essaouira Day Trip
Overview
Essaouira is a walled port town on the Atlantic, about two and a half hours north of Agadir, and its medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This day trip leaves at 07:30 and reaches the town around 11:00, after a rest stop and a stop to see goats in the argan trees.
Your guide leads a walk through the souks of the medina, the kasbah ramparts and the Skala, the old sea bastion with its cannons, then down to the fishing port and the fish market, and the municipal market.
You then have about two hours of free time for lunch, the beach or the craft shops, before meeting the group for the drive back. You are at your hotel around 19:00. The trip runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
