Legzira Beach & Tiznit
Overview
Legzira beach, south of Tiznit, is known for its red cliffs and the rock arches the Atlantic has cut into them. This day trip combines it with Tiznit, a walled Berber town and one of the main centres for silver jewellery in Morocco.
The first stop is a traditional pottery house, where you can watch the clay being shaped and fired and have a drink. In Tiznit, your guide leads you through the souks and along the old ramparts. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
At Legzira you have free time to walk the beach, take photos of the arches and swim if the sea allows. Pickup is around 08:30 from hotels in Agadir, Taghazout and Tamraght, and you are back in the early evening.
