Desert Dinner in Timlalin
Overview
An evening plan for people who want the dunes without the midday heat. You leave Agadir in the late afternoon, drive about an hour north to the Timlalin dunes and meet the camels at their base.
After a short briefing, the camel ride lasts 30 minutes and is timed for sunset over the Atlantic. Dinner follows in a traditional house overlooking the ocean: chicken tagine or barbecued chicken, salads, freshly baked bread, seasonal fruit and mint tea.
There is time to sit outside after the meal before the drive back to your hotel. To see the dunes in daylight and try the slopes, book the sandboarding trip on another day.
