Overview
A private day trip for travellers who do not have time for a night in the desert but want to see the kasbahs of the south. You leave early from Agadir or Taghazout and cross the Anti-Atlas through Taliouine, known for its saffron, and Taznakht, known for its carpets.
At Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified earth village listed by UNESCO, you have free time to walk up through the ksar and the souk and to have lunch. The afternoon continues to Ouarzazate for the Atlas Film Studios and the 19th-century Taourirt kasbah, a maze of decorated rooms, passages and stairways.
